no on prop 8 Pictures, Images and Photos

For anyone interested--

TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 4th... the CA Judge is going to give his ruling about Prop 8 sometime between 1pm and 3pm. The case started back in January, final arguments were given in June, and now there will finally be a decision.

There are three possible outcomes:

#1. He can keep the things the way they are. Prop 8 is law; gays CANNOT marry.

#2. He can overturn Prop 8, BUT gay marriage is not legal until both sides for and against are able to file and complete appeals in Court to his decision. (This can take years.)

or, hopefully--

#3. He will overturn Prop 8, all previous gay marriages are immediately reinstated, AND new marriages can take place ASAP.

Keep your fingers crossed for #3!!

Someone stole my 2yr old, very worn, bought used off of ebay, pair of shoes off of my front porch. They were my yard work shoes.

I hope the same asshole hasn't figured out that I don't lock my car at night. Maybe I should start.

Dear Yes on 8 people--

If you continue to put up signs in public use areas (not your private property), then I will continue to take them down.

As I walk my dog around the neighborhood, I've been mentally taking note to which neighbors have Yes on 8 signs in their yard.  You are on my "do not trust" list.  Those of you who have No on 8 signs, I will continue to wave at you and let you pet my doggie.

Yesterday on a talk radio program, some lady used the argument that if 8 is defeated, it's a gateway law to people marrying their pets.

Really?  REALLY?!

If you don't like the gays, fine.  I can't change your mind on that.  But, you gotta realize how absurd that sounds.

And *ppppssstttttt*  I'll let you in on a secret all you Yes on Eighters... Marriage for all has already been happening in CA for awhile now and the state hasn't imploded or fallen into the ocean.  We're still living the same as ever and making money while we're at it.

If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it
would now be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original
$1000.00.

With WorldCom, you would have had less than $5.00 left.

If you had purchased $1000 of Delta Air Lines stock you wouldhave
$49.00 left.

But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of beer one year ago,
drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling REFUND, you
would have had $214.00.

Based on the above, the best current investment advice is to drink

heavily and recycle.

It's called the 401 Keg Plan.
